Final Score: San Antonio 100, Washington 78

San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Tony Parker scored 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting and dished out seven assists, as the San Antonio Spurs clobbered the hapless Washington Wizards, 100-78.

Ime Udoka logged 13 points, four rebounds and four assists off the bench for the Spurs, who have won six of their last nine games. Michael Finley and George Hill both finished with 12 points in the win.

Antawn Jamison scored 14 points to pace Washington, which has dropped six of its last seven contests. Darius Songaila and Nick Young both contributed 11 points, with the latter adding six rebounds.

San Antonio built a 24-15 advantage at the end of the first quarter and edged Washington over the next 12 minutes to take a 46-34 lead into halftime.

"The Spurs are an elite team and it is always difficult to play them," said Jamison. "They are a team that doesn't go out and take games but a team that makes you give the game to them."

The Spurs pulled away in the third quarter with a 16-2 burst. Finley knocked down a trey to jump-start the run, Parker then followed up a layup with a pair at the charity stripe to make it 59-41. After a Songaila layup stopped the bleeding momentarily, Roger Mason hit a driving layup before Parker rattled off seven straight points to give San Antonio a 68-43 cushion with 4:21 to play in the frame.

Washington trailed 79-53 after three quarters and didn't pose a threat in the final session.

"We're still disappointed in the way we played last game. We wanted to come out strong and get the win," said Mason.
