batted in and Josh Fields also knocked in a pair during a three-hit effort, as
the Chicago White Sox pounded Australia, 10-3, in an exhibition contest.
Alexei Ramirez had two hits and two RBI and Brian Anderson homered for
Chicago, which got a two-inning, four-strikeout scoreless start from Wes
Whisler.
Luke Hughes, of the Twins organization, went 2-for-3 with a triple, run scored
and an RBI for Australia.
Nine different pitchers saw time on the mound for the Aussies, with the
Phillies' Drew Naylor the only hurler that didn't register an inning
